AIM Implementation Management Methodology
AIMasters are highly experienced individuals who are the “black belts” of AIM. To reach the elite AIMaster status, individuals must:
- Complete formal learning through Accreditation
- Have experience applying AIM to internal projects and initiatives
- Demonstrate competent performance in developing specific AIM deliverables, under the guidance of an IMA consultant
AIMasters can be leveraged across the enterprise in two ways:
- To serve as mentors for others on critical initiatives
- To ensure implementation success when they are active team members
Organizations that develop a cadre of AIMasters can expect to accelerate results, achieve intended ROI, and meet all initiative objectives on time and on budget – creating competitive advantage.
Individuals who have completed the formal pre-requisites and who have had experience applying AIM to organizational initiatives may choose to become AIMasters.
Pre-Requisites
- Completion of either the Introduction to AIM program or a Project Workshop Accreditation
- Rights to Use or Rights to Reproduce License
Becoming an AIMaster
- Future AIMasters are given a Performance Checklist detailing AIMaster requirements.
- Select performances require observation by an IMA consultant; others are deliverables that must be reviewed and approved by an IMA consultant before receiving sign-off.
Benefits to Organization
- Provides internal expertise in AIM that can be leveraged on business critical initiatives across the enterprise
- Enables broader application of AIM, accelerating Return on Investment and accomplishment of all project objectives
- Develops a core of experts that can serve as mentors to less-experienced AIM users
- Limits external dependency, pushing expertise out from IMA to the enterprise
